Hi there i'm from Venezuela i always love strongman competitions but i'm small fellow 5'9" so i never consider strongman but now recently find out that there is a under 105Kg category, so i'll love to give it a try but i can't find any info about where when and requirements to compete, so i appreciate any info from you.
I'm already training with sandbags, barrels, farmers walk with dumbbells and classic compound movement also some classic oldtime lifts, if you Know about any routine that helps me improve my strongman skills it would be awesome!
Thanks in advance and pardon my English.

Juan,
Usually each country has a representative of sorts that promotes strongman competitions. That would be your first step. If there is no such thing in Venuzuela, you will more than likely have to travel outside of your country as well as get invited to these competitions. Unfortunately, you will more than likely have to finance these yourself as most promoers look for established athletes prior to investing in an athlete that has little or no track record. I cannot advise you on a training program as each person is different as well as in regards to how well their body adapts to heavy training. I highly suggests getting a group of your friends together to train and lift heavy things. I hope this helps.

From www.unitedstrongmen.com you will find also info about upcoming international competitions like World Championships. (but to get there you have to win nationals in your country). If there´s organizers for competitions in your country, please ask them to contact.
Personally I can warmly suggest competing in USA - I did it a few times in my early and a little later days and the competitions have been good and fun always there.
