I know the video quality isn't great but you can see the #3 when I tilt the gripper. I was having lighting issues. This took my 7.5 months of dedicated training.

Very strong close and hold Cesare!:;st) Don't wait too long to certify. I'd jump right on it with a close like that.

Thanks Ben and Michael. I get nervous during certs and comps so I'm going to wait until I can close this CCS every workout. I also have a rated gripper on the way from a friend on the gripboard. None of my grippers have been rated so I want to see how mine compares. I think my #3 is above average going by feeling when I compare to the mash monster grippers (I certed MM1 and MM2 and I'm working on MM3) and the rated grippers I closed at a recent comp. That could be just contest/cert adrenaline though.

I understand were you are coming from but you clearly made mincemeat of the gripper ,
id go for the certfication if that was my effort .
Good luck :;st)

I tried signing up guys but ironmind said I need to do this at least a couple dozen times first and denied my cert application. I'll just keep training hard.

Work on closing that #3 for the next month, focus on getting everything together and you'll be ready. I wish I would have taken more time with my cert attempt; but when you really man-handle the #3, you'll know when you're ready.
Here's a good tip, keep working on the #3 and if you have any other gripper that's slightly harder than your #3 coc, use those grippers with your #3 and if they become easy to use with a 'ccs' you're right on target, and then going for a cert so be a lot better.

Thanks for advice John. I got an MM1 replica that I can get with a 1.75 inch CCS after doing 3 CCS singles with my #3. I'll try and get a video of me doing a full CCS with my MM1 replica since its harder than any #3 I know of. I compete in grip competitions and I'm also trying to cert on the MM3 on the gripboard so I won't stop training. I'll be back with a vengeance. I wish you the best of luck in your training and look forward to seeing both our names on that list.
