Lars was a world champion powerlifter in the eighties, then dissapeared...what ever became of the man who beat the Kaz's powerlifting total?

Lars's total 2374 in 1987. He pulled a greater deadlift not total ( don't hurt me Kaz!) Lars:931squat, 551 bench, 892 deadlift which is on YouTube.
It looked as though he could have pulled more.

I thought you meant Noren's DL. His squat was as impressive. Felt shaky, composed himself and got a solid lift. No wonder these totals (Reinhoudt, Kazmaier and Noren) stood for 20 years. Let's face it, IPF has gradually been allowing more radical equipment, especially since 2003-04, and it's not a coincidence that only since then their totals have been surpassed.
