My buddy Chad Gustin officially broke the world record on the total weight double Rolling Thunder pullup at our King Kong venue on Saturday! He did over the old record twice before the contest started. It was pretty cool watching this unfold. Especially since he attempted the record last year also in terrible conditions (smashing down rain and barely above freezing on a concrete platform with no walls) and only missed the record due to arms not being straight enough at the beginning of the pullup. His 11-year-old son was also doing an occasional pullup on the double Rolling Thunder setup, which my 7-year-old daughter and I were impressed by. His son competed and won his age group in the King Kong contest. Chad's 7-year-old daughter also competed and did some very good lifts.
