      Thanks Igor. We had a couple competitive strongmen in the contest. I think the OHP events are a good way of bringing Oly, strongman and powerlifters together to see how they match-up. And there isn't a company out there making OHP shirts that add 100s to a person's lift, so the ridiculous politics and drama that goes along with the equipment lifters vs the classic lifters doesn't take place, which is a nice break.

        I agree completely that OHP is better indicator of shoulder girdle strength than bench, especially equipped bench.

        PS How come that power jerk was allowed? Jerk is not a push press.

            I just decided to call it an overhead push press (seems like a marketable name.)

            I ran the rules and basic description by Dr. Terry Todd and he gave the thumbs up so we rolled with it. I'm definitely looking forward to building on our Shoulders of Samson competition concept.
